Our History
In the late 1800s, our founder D.C. Harris began quarrying granite from the North Acton Quarry in Acton, Massachusetts. Originally operating as The Acton Granite Company, he supplied fine gray granite blocks for building materials. Over time, this same granite was crafted into memorial stones—marking the beginning of The Acton Monument Company. Today, more than a century later, we proudly continue as a fifth-generation, family-owned business.

We offer a wide selection of granite colors sourced from North American and international suppliers. Our team is dedicated to preserving the integrity and historical character of local cemeteries while constructing exceptionally crafted, long-lasting memorials.

Our Process
From the first consultation to the final installation, we work closely with each family to design a monument that reflects their wishes. We guide clients through cemetery regulations and handle every detail to ensure complete satisfaction with the finished memorial.
